While Colorado does not require licensing of funeral service professionals, the Colorado Funeral Directors Association supports a very strong voluntary certification and registration process.
Continuing education is voluntary, but strongly encouraged:
The CFDA recommends 6 hours of CE per year,
and recognizes distance learning courses
(Online / by Mail) approved by the APFSP.
APEX courses are approved by the APFSP.
